When Your New Website Is Done: Aftercare

Aftercare

Included in each package is two (2) hours of Website Maintenance, we call AfterCare. They can be used for minor tweaking and adjustments after your site is completed; for CMS, Social Media, or cPanel training, or additions to your site.

Use these hours however you like, they never expire.

Free User Support

No matter how much testing in a variety of different browsers and screen resolutions happens during development, there can be an unusual user environment (be it their browser, operating system or screen resolution) where your website won't display as intended or something might look out of place.

For this reason, we like to be available for your users to contact should they find any display abnormalities or experience any errors. It reflects well on you and your business when your users know there's someone available who cares about their experience with your website.

As long as you're a current client in good standing, we place a very small link at the bottom of each page, so that users may contact us with any issues or provide feedback regarding the design of your website.

If it's something that can be adjusted we do so, and at no additional charge.

Maintenance Hourly Rate Discount

After your site is completed, you'll want it to grow as your business grows, adding new content and pages, as well as have needed changes (prices, hours of operation, contact info) made as needed.

For current design clients whose site we've designed you receive a discount of 25% off the hourly rate. Because it's easier (and faster) to work on a site that we've designed, it's also less expensive for you. Almost all changes to text (copy) can be done quickly (.25 - .50 an hour).

Maintenance Billing

Maintenance hours are purchased in blocks of time, in advance.

I can typically get to a quick text/copy change within 24-48 hours. But as with all things in life, the more lead time the better chance you have. My schedule books up typically 3-4 weeks in advance, so if you have a sizable amount of updating/changes needed that will take more than a few hours, it's best to plan ahead.
