You may also notice we don't carry every script each of the auto-installers offer. Any script that is found to be abandonware, have known security issues, or lack any sort of user support we will not be offering. Due to security concerns or a lack of support, the following scripts have been disabled from all Auto-Installers:
Freeway: Though Freeway looked promising, the forum hasn't been posted to since 2006. Dead project with no support. Also listed in SQL Injection/Exploits site.
Coranto: Appears abandoned, 2006 or 2008 latest addition.
Flat Calendar: abandoned, uses PHP4.
WebCalendar: Disabled v1.2.0 - security issue. Current versions seem fine.
PHP File Manager: Abandoned, security risk.
Pivot: Abandoned and a security risk. Abandoned in favor of PivotX.
Power File Manager: Abandoned, security risk.
Simple Poll: Abandoned, security risk.
Task Freak: Offers no way to login and no security whatsoever. A spammers paradise.
phpShop: Project is no longer active.
Kamads: No support offered.
4images: The developers' native language is German, as is most of the website. There are better scripts available with instructions/support available in English.
PHP-Nuke: Has *always* been a security risk. There are better, more securely written Portal/CMS scripts available.
Mambo: Development ceased in 2008 and the support forum was closed to posting. There has been some very sporadic posting in the mambo-foundation.org support forum, but it's still considered abandonware and therefore a potential security risk.
poMMo: Incompatible with PHP version 5.3 and above, project appears abandoned as it hasn't been updated since 2008.
Help Center Live: Incompatible with PHP version 5.3 and above, which has been reported in their support forum since Sept. 2010. The project looks abandoned.
phpLD: Incompatible with PHP version 5.3 and above.
Webinsta Maillist: Incompatible with PHP version 5.3 and above.
ccMail: Incompatible with PHP version 5.3 and above.
phpESP: Incompatible with PHP version 5.3 and above.
ExtCalendar: Incompatible with PHP version 5.3 and above.
phpCOIN: Incompatible with PHP version 5.3 and above.
Mahara: requires a dedicated server with 1GB or more of RAM and 50GB disk space.
Dolphin: requires a dedicated server.
Concrete5: (installed from Installatron): Link to login on first page is wrong if installed into a sub-directory.
MODx: php.ini needs ini_set (will require a custom php.ini installed in that directory).
e107: Buggy, use at your own risk.
Zikula: Buggy, use at your own risk.
The following applications were made specifically for Windows (IIS) server/ASP.NET, and are incompaticle with Linux. If you're interested in installing these scripts and notice that they release a non-Windows version, we'd be happy to add it for you.
