Our system allows clients to change hosting plans from within the Client Portal, so as your hosting needs change you can switch to a different plan painlessly and in just a few moments.
To upgrade or downgrade your hosting plan, you simply:
- Login to your account in the Client Portal
- go to Hosting & Services
- click the View Details and Manage button next to the hosting plan (your current plan) you wish to upgrade/downgrade.
- At the bottom of the screen you'll see an Upgrade/Downgrade Plan button. Click that.
- That takes you to a list of other plans available to you. Chose the billing cycle option from the drop-down (if any) and click the Click To Continue at the bottom of your new hosting plan.
When you upgrade or downgrade your hosting plan, you will be credited for the unused portion of the current billing cycle of your current hosting plan, and then charged for the remainder of the cycle at the hosting plans' rate. The next due date doesn't change (unless you upgrade to the Omega (reseller) or Starburst (Managed VPS Server) plans, which are prorated to the 1st of the month).
Please be aware of the consequences of downgrading to a smaller hosting plan. You'll need to check the disk space your account is currently using and make sure your files will fit in the new plan if you're downgrading. Also be aware that not all services are made available to all hosting plans.
